Day 187 – The Tornado

7 Oct

No, I wasn’t storm chasing, although I would totally do that, instead I spent the evening at the Harvest Homecoming which is our annual fall festival. I am going to go more this weekend but I went down tonight to specifically take photos of the rides since it isn’t as crowded through the week as it is on the weekend.

This is a shot of a ride called The Tornado and I did and HDR rendering of it. I quite like it, it almost looks surreal to me and I think that is why I like it. I love the motion and the saturated colors. I have some other shots of the rides that I will eventually share but this is the one that caught my eye for the night. Enjoy!

    This is very cool.

Sheesh is seems so late in the year to have a festival like this. Must be so much fun.

Your title for this gave me a bit of a startle, lol. Too close to the other kind twice this summer here(have to say I wouldn’t mind doing the chasing thing either, but in a wide open field away from homes). Glad to see it is the fun tornado 🙂 Great capture of light and motion, oh and FUN.
