Day 183 – Fire Eater

3 Oct

Well, we had gorgeous day here today but the wind prevented the balloon race from taking place for obvious safety reasons. I was pretty bummed about that but we did stick around the festival and watched the kids paint pumpkins, eat lots of junk food and generally just be cute.

There were several performances while we were there too including a “street performer” type fire-eater who also escaped from a straight jacket, walked on glass, hung weights from his eye lids, climbed a ladder of swords, and hammered a nail into his nose. Yes folks, it was an interesting day in Indiana. We really had a great afternoon. I am going to post more photos from the day this week I think but today it is all about craziness 🙂

Great captures. I am always quite entertained by street performers. OK, so your guy was a little more out there than most, still entertaining none the less and whole lot of fun to photograph.

I taught that man everything he knows…. about scrambling eggs.

What he’s doing there, I have no idea how the heck he does it.

Sounds like it was a heckuva day in Indiana! Looking forward to more pics!

“hung weights from his eye lids, climbed a ladder of swords, and hammered a nail into his nose” and the only word that came to mind was “EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW”. Nice shots of what may cause sleeping issues later :).
