Day 167 – Painting the Sky

18 Sep

Sometimes nature gives us a gift and it looks like something that might have been hand created and hung on a wall and I hear you guys say to me often “oh that looks like a painting”… well I finally agree with you. If you have followed me on this journey you know that taking photos of a sunrise or sunset  is no foreign concept to me. I find so much beauty in those moments before the sun goes to sleep or is just getting ready for the day, and while this shot was not taken today I thought it was worth sharing.

I did increase the saturation of colors and added a soft blur to give it impact but the colors and the arrangement are all mother nature! It looks like it was created with brush strokes from some creative mind and I guess in a way it was. I hope you find as much beauty in this photo as I did!

Have a safe and wonderful weekend.

Wow that’s a gorgeous sky. God sure has an eye for art, doesn’t He?
